There was a mix of classical and well-known ballads and songs that I could recognize immediately which brought up its own emotion. But somehow they were able to add a haunting soulful element to it that I had never really heard before. I don't know if they were trying to or if they were just that good. They weren't too loud. The music wasn't intrusive. They just provided the perfect amount of atmosphere. But for anyone that found themselves for a minute not wrapped up in conversing with the rest of the people there or putting everything together, they would have found themselves lost in music you don't just listen to, but could actually truly feel.
I am getting married either later this year or early next year. We don't have a date yet. But as soon as we get a date, these people are one of the first bookings we make in order to make sure when my fiancee walks down the aisle she is surrounded by music that is as beautiful as she deserves that moment to be.”

His pick of music for my guests could not be beat. I had teenagers and young adults, as well as a crowd of 40-70 year olds in attendance, he had the best songs picked for everyone to enjoy.
He snapped pics and videos of the reception intermittently and these were amazing. My teenage guests raved about him and wanted him to DJ their next high school dances.

If you want to create a special night full of memories that will stay with you forever then Somar is what you’re looking for hands down. They can mix songs off of the playlist of songs you want to hear or create one based on your specific wants.
Every part of the process was easy and 10/10 times I would do the same thing again. My wife and I just finished dinner the first night of our honeymoon and could not stop talking about how great of a job Mike at Somar did for us. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
